After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week,
Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
There was a violent earthquake, for an
angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the
stone and sat on it. His appearance was
like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid
of him that they shook and became like dead men.
The angel said to the women, "Do not
be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is
not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he
lay. (Matt. 28:1-6)
Revelation 21:5
He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!"
Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and
true."
Colossians 1:18
And he is the head of the body,
the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that
in everything he might have the supremacy.
Romans 6:9
w For
we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death
no longer has mastery over him.
w
Acts 13:34
The fact that God raised him from the
dead, never to decay, is stated in these words:
" 'I will give you the holy and sure
blessings promised to David”
Karl Heim said..
“The Resurrection of Christ is in no way an
event belonging to the present order of time as a link in the chain of events.
Neither is it one of those miraculous events which do happen from time to time
in our order of time, like the miracles of healing or the raising of dead as we
find them in the apostolic age. The Resurrection of Christ is something
fundamentally distinguished from all events which take place on the level of
the present time. It is the beginning of the perfecting of the world. .
.
1 Corinthians 15:20-23
But
Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have
fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead
comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made
alive. But each in his own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes,
those who belong to him.
“as the process of death, once the stone
has started rolling, can no longer be stopped but changes the whole of world
history into one great dance of death, so also can the resurrection of the
world once it has started no longer be stopped. It is like the awakening of the
spring of the world. The movement cannot cease until the whole creation has
become new. . . .”
1 Peter 1:3-5
Praise
be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has
given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ
from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or
fade—kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God's power
until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last
time.
Acts 17:31
For he has set a day when he
will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given
proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead

Us Life
– A
resurrection of our spirits
– A
resurrection of our bodies
John 7:37-39
On
the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice,
"If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. 38Whoever believes in
me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within
him." By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were
later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus
had not yet been glorified.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the
Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your
own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body .”
John 5:24
I tell you
the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life
and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.
1 John 3:14
We know that we have passed from
death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains
in death.
Romans 6:3-9
Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into
Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him
through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the
glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we
have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall
be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was
crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we
should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin.
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, Death
no longer has dominion over Him.
Colossians 2:12-13
whaving
been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your faith in the
power of God, who raised him from the dead.
w When you
were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature(flesh),
God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,
1 Corinthians 15:50-53
I
declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of
God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a
mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the
twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead
will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must
clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.
2 Corinthians 4:14
“because we
know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us
with Jesus and present us with you in his presence. ”
"For
if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His
Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.“
- Romans
5:10
